La Manga is an exclusive resort tucked away in a paradise— Murcia, Spain. It had been in my list of to-go places for decades but I never really had the time and money to go there. A surprising win in the lottery recently gave me the chance to go through my checklist.
I just came from Spain. I stayed there for a month. I, of course, stayed in Villas La Manga for a couple of days. I was not going to leave that out of my itinerary. And I was glad I did not.
The place was just magnificent. As I mentioned, I and my family stayed at the Villas La Manga and I was really happy that we did. I thought that it was much better than the hotel, not because it was more beautiful or had better service but because it suited the family the best. At the Villas, we were able to have a house, not just a room. We were able to cook our own food, wash our laundry and generally lived there as if it was our home.
What’s great about staying here is the fact that the village has its own indoor and outdoor pools and a line of restaurants and cafes. The kids especially enjoyed the playground and the crazy golf course. And of course, those are on top of the world class facilities at the La Manga Resort, which we also had access too. The La Manga Club Spa is actually located at the heart of the village and it had a gym and of course, offered spa and massage treatments that we tried out.
