There are only a few resorts in the world that provides world class facilities in one venue. The La Manga Club Resort in Murcia, Spain is one of them. The sports facilities are too die for, not only will you get pool and mini-pools, which is quite usual for most resorts, you will also find their tennis courts, golf courses, football field, rugby field and cricket game area up to scratch with international standards.
I especially love their golf course, which has been a venue for numerous national and international tournaments. The golf courses are a bit difficult for me but I don’t mind because I know that I am playing on a course that great golfers have also played in. Their football amenities are also good with eight international-standard pitches that you won’t see in most resorts in the area. Those who like to play tennis will love the numerous different types of tennis courts that they offer. They have clay court and the grass court, so you can practice on both surfaces. They also have provisions for rugby and cricket, it’s a refreshing experience to at least try playing one game.
Besides the amenities and facilities, the resort also offers tutorial services. They actually have a golf, tennis and football academies, which already have formal programs in place. Even kids as young as three years old can enroll in the lessons.
When it comes to sports, nothing beats the holiday sports experience for me.
