When my friend who visited Spain last year could not stop gushing over La Manga Club, I immediately included the resort in my must-visit places in Spain. I immediately checked online for bookings and had an easy time completing my reservations. It’s a good thing that the Murcia San Javier airport is just nearby so finding the place wasn’t so hard. Actually, it wasn’t a problem anymore since the La Manga Club hotel concierge helped me with my transportation, to and from the resort.
The moment I got in, I was hooked. The resort was just superb. We got in at night so we were really not able to tour the coastline but the scenery that we passed en route to the hotel was so beautiful. The hotel had a classy vibe. You know at first glance that the hotel is top-notch. I had nothing bad to say about the staff. We arrived at a really awkward time but the hotel staff was cheery and accommodating.
In the morning, I immediately went to the indoor pool for my early morning swim. It was magnificent. It was also a boon that the La Manga Spa facilities are in the same area so I also spent about three hours getting a massage. Afterwards, I set about to relax in a cabana along the shoreline with the book I brought along. The beach was gorgeous. The water was calm that day and you could see the bottom. That’s how clear the water was. Another great thing about the resort is the seclusion. Because La Manga Club is a bit pricey, guests enjoy a certain exclusivity. You will not find so many people crowding the beach.
